This is a working draft, not a final, binding agreement. It accurately describes what the Vetify platform does today, but it has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel. Do not rely on it as final until that review is complete.
1. What Vetify is — and is not
Vetify is institutional private credit market infrastructure: a neutral technology, workflow, and verification layer connecting businesses seeking Shariah-compliant financing with participating financiers. Vetify never writes a financing decision, never prices an offer, and never holds or moves your money.
Vetify is not a bank, a lender, a crowdfunding platform, or an investment manager or broker/dealer. Vetify is not licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and does not claim to be. Financiers who use the platform remain independently responsible for their own regulatory status and licensing.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when registering a business or account, and keep your login credentials confidential. Each action taken on the platform is attributed to the specific, authenticated person who took it — not a shared credential.
3. How the platform works
A business submits one financing request. Vetify coordinates onboarding and verification, then routes the resulting opportunity to financiers whose own mandates match. Each financier independently assesses and prices its own offer under a real, asset-backed structure (such as Murabaha, Ijarah, Salam, or Istisna). Acceptance of a financier's proposed terms by the business is what makes the resulting contract binding — Vetify does not decide or negotiate on either party's behalf.
4. Shariah compliance
Vetify does not issue Shariah opinions or determine whether any financing arrangement is Shariah-compliant. That responsibility remains with each participating institution and its own Shariah governance body.
5. AI-assisted review
Underwriting analysis on the platform is AI-assisted and advisory only. It surfaces evidence for a human reviewer; it never makes or replaces a financing decision, and its outputs are stored verbatim rather than relabelled as Vetify's own signal.
6. No financial advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decision to submit, accept, or decline any financing request or offer.
7. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, provides materially false information, or is used in a way that puts the platform or other users at risk.
8. Limitation of liability
Vetify provides infrastructure, not financial products. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetify is not liable for the terms, performance, or outcome of any financing arrangement entered into between a business and a financier through the platform.
9. Changes to these terms
As the platform evolves, these terms will change with it. We'll update the “Last updated” date above whenever we do.
